我SAT语法770, 楼主看我的解释自己衡量谁对谁错：
第一个1楼确实是正解,但是解释得不完整.这里的结构确实是 make sth do sth.注意这里结构里有2个sth,第一个是"car exhaust",意思是汽车尾气.第二个sth是french fries（无视这里的状语“appealingly like”,这样比较明显）.所以结构中的“do”就是“smell”了（因为结构是make sth do sth, 而不是make sth does sth,你smell不能加s）
第二个问题,1楼误解,.正解是：in 1961 rita moreno gained fame and won an academy award for portraying anita in the film... 这里her是多余的.我做了无数SAT语法题,对这种可对可错的题目已经了如指掌了,楼主只要记住这句话：如果是重复啰嗦的句子,只要你想得到更简单得句型,一律是错的.比如这里,her是重复的我们撇开不说.原句更简单明了的句型是：rita moreno gained fame and won an academy award for her portrait of anita in the film...既然这里我们可以想得到更简单的句型,原句就是错的.
