the other 后可以跟复数名词,the other 常和one 连用,表示两者之中一个是什么,另外一个是什么,若表示其余所有的全部时,则用the other +复数名词的
eg: I have two pens , one is red,the other is black.
There are three books on the desk, one is Chinese, the other twos are English.
information booth worker 说的是一个人。
one 是一个 所以没有s
the other students are tourists。
前面并没有说明有多少学生。
这主要脱出只有一个是例外，所以其他的就不能是一个人了。
one…… the other后面不可以跟复数，但是one…… other后面可以跟复数．例如：
One boy left early, other kids (or others) stayed for the entire party.
