When the vet arrived,the farmer told the vet that his cow was seriously ill.It was lying down and couldn’t stand up.It wouldn’t eat and was making a strange noise.He didn’t know what was the matter with it.
“It is certainly ill,”the vet said.”and it needs to take some very strong medicine.”He gave the farmer two pills and a long tube(管子).
“Put this tube into its mouth,”he said.”then put the pills into the tube and blow.That will make it take them and they should make it better.”
After the vet went away,the farmer did what he said,but the cow blew first.The farmer was not feeling well the next day.
