祈使句用于两个重要句型中
1．“祈使句+and+表结果的陈述句”用来叙述肯定的条件.
2．“祈使句+or(else)+表结果的陈述句”用来叙述否定的条件,or(else)表示“否则；要不然”.试比较：
Hurry up and you’ll catch the train.(＝If you hurry up,you’ll catch the train．)
Hurry up,or you’ll miss the train．(＝If you don’t hurry up,you’ll miss the train．)
强调的内容不一样，其实就是语气不一样
前面祈使句强调是工作努力，后面是强调的是得到的结果，就是make progress（进步）
1. happen on后面加的可能是时间/地点等名词（短语），而这个短语恰好是要求用介词on的。
比如：What happend on the island? 这个岛上发生什么事？
A traffic accident happened on July 12th? 7月12日发生了一起交通事故。
happen on不是固定搭配。
