Pros:
1.fewer burdens.parents don't need to spend as money as those in an extented family.fewer kids,fewer old people to take care of,so you've got more time and money for your partner and your only-child.
2.freedom!you can do whatever you want in your house,like walking around naked,lying on the sofa eating potato chips without any worries about distrubing other family members.
Cons:
1.loneliness.only 3 or 4 in a family,a bit dull and monotonous,every day is gonna be the same.
2.may affect your child's mental development.probably your kid would become selfish,pessimistic,self-centered...since he has got no siblings to share happiness and sorrow with.
