It is my pleasure to introduce the Keynote speaker for today,Mr.Stone Jones of the United Nations.
Mr.Jones is a renowed international authority on the problem of overpopulation in the developing countries,and he has graciously consented to speak to us on that subject tonight.
Mr.Jones spent his undergraduate days at Columbia,went on to get his master’s degree from Harvard,and PhD from Yale.After graduation,Mr.Jones immediately becomes a member of the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration,and he has spent over six years working in Africa and India.Through his experiences during those six years,he has come to be recognized as an expert in the problem of overpopulation and food supply.Mr.Jones is the author of the controversial book,We’ve Killing Ourselves,in which he tries to sketch life in the year 2030.We’re all anxious to hear Mr.Jones’remarks,so let us all welcome him to the podium.
